able to design original wall murals and decorate furniture, or
decorate greeting cards and scrapbook pages?
Come and learn the One Stroke method of decorative painting
developed by American artist Donna Dewberry, with One Stroke
Certified Instructor Elena McMillan at the Artspaces Studios,
Lowestoft, Suffolk.
With a little practice anyone can learn this fun, quick and easy painting technique that
allows you to blend, shade, and highlight with one stroke of the brush.
I currently run full day workshops, and a regular weekly workshop on a Wednesday
evening 7 - 9pm at the Artspaces Studio, Lowestoft, Suffolk.
The full day workshop is £40, which includes all the materials and equipment that you
need for the day, and a quality item for you to paint on and take home ( e.g. a wooden
tray or a bread bin), so there is no need to purchase or prepare anything before you
arrive, just bring a packed lunch if required and a smile!
During each day we will first practice the strokes, learn how to build the basic stokes
into flowers and leaves, look at composition and structure of designs using those
flowers, and finally paint your design onto the surface provided for your to take home
and impress your family and friends with!
Maximum of six students per class.
Workshops will be held on a rolling, quite flexible basis to fit in with your schedule.

The content of your workshop can be formatted to suit your individual needs, whether
you are completely new to one-stroke or just want to further improve your technique. I
know many people have a one-stroke painting kit at home and have been to scared to
even open the box and have a go! If this is the case bring it along and I'll help get you
started.

open to all, and we enjoy a different subject each week. You do need
your own materials for this workshop, but anything you may need can
